EIPC partnered with a graduate student from the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) to document Palmer Park Academy, a K–8 school in the Detroit Public Schools Community District. Using 3D scanning technologies, the project captured key interior and exterior features of the school to support the student’s research, which focused on educational environments and community infrastructure. While the precise application of the data varied with the research goals, the collaboration highlighted the value of spatial documentation in supporting interdisciplinary work at the intersection of education, environment, and design.
